The short version. Your camera is read on your phone and the live picture never leaves it. We do not sell your data, show ads, or track you across other apps. If you send a round for video analysis, the video is deleted as soon as the analysis is done.
RingSight is a boxing training app made by Solkari ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app and this website handle, why, and the choices you have. Questions: support@ringsight.app.
What we handle
The camera, during live training
Live workouts use your camera to see your body position. The pose of your body is worked out on your device, frame by frame, and thrown away. The live camera picture is not recorded, stored or sent anywhere.
Video analysis (only if you use it)
If you choose a video and send it for analysis, it is uploaded over an encrypted connection to our server, analysed, and deleted from the server as soon as the analysis is finished. The result (numbers about your punches, guard and movement) is sent back to your phone. To write the coach's comments and answer your questions about a round, that result (numbers and text, never the video or images of you) is sent to an AI language model provided by Google (Gemini). We ask Google not to use it to train their models, under their API terms.
Your training profile
Your answers to the opening questions (such as experience, stance and goals), your progress, levels and workout history are stored on your device. Deleting the app deletes them.
The world ranking
To place you in the world ranking, the app sends a random identifier made on your device, the display name you chose, and your points. Use any name you like; it does not need to be your real name.
Subscriptions
Purchases are made through the App Store or Google Play. We never see your card or payment details. To know whether your subscription is active, the app uses RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous app user identifier and your purchase receipts from the store.
The coach's voice
The coach's lines are recorded in advance and play from inside the app. If a line is missing, the app may ask our server to speak it; only the words of the line are sent.
This website and the waitlist
If you join the waitlist, we keep your email address (and the country Cloudflare sees the request coming from) to tell you when RingSight launches. The "try it live" demo on this page runs entirely in your browser; no camera picture is sent to us. The site uses no advertising or tracking cookies.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent personal data.
- We don't show ads or use advertising identifiers.
- We don't track you across other companies' apps or websites.
- We don't record or keep your live camera picture.
Who helps us
- Apple and Google: app distribution and payments.
- RevenueCat: checking subscription status.
- Google (Gemini API): writing coach comments from analysis results.
- Cloudflare: hosting this website and the waitlist.
- Our server host, for video analysis and the ranking.
How long we keep things
- Uploaded videos: deleted when the analysis finishes.
- Ranking entries: while the ranking runs, or until you ask us to remove yours.
- Waitlist emails: until launch announcements end, or until you ask us to remove yours.
Your choices and rights
You can turn off camera access in your phone's settings at any time (live workouts need it). You can ask us to see, correct or delete data we hold about you, such as a ranking entry or waitlist email, by writing to support@ringsight.app. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California) you may have further rights, and you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
RingSight is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has sent us data, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above, and tell you in the app if the change matters.
